Management Lessons From Krishna

BEST CEO LEASSONS ABOUT MANAGEMENT FROM Management Guru- Lord Krishna

If You Really would like to Grow in Your Business or profession , try to follow those steps. As a CEO or MD you can achieve every goal in your life by those baby  Steps...

1. Step 1- Grounded
The very first formula that strikes the chord is their realistic and grounded approach. There are many stories about Lord Krishna who spent his childhood days in a village and later embraced ‘kingship’ clearly suggest how he stay rooted to the ground even when he had the whole world in his hands.

2. Step 2 - True companion
We have all heard the epic Sudama and Krishna’s friendship tale. Such a true companionship rarely exist nowadays, but if entrepreneurs can adapt this quality even partly, they would surely win over many friends who will stick with them through their thick and thin.

3. Step 3 - Master of all Traits
Krishna was a teacher, an artist, a warrior, a preacher, an ocean of knowledge, a learner, a lover and a master of all those traits of which he was supposed to be. To attain success, you too should master certain specific traits of an entrepreneur: the fighter, the problem solver, the knowledge-seeker, and most importantly, the risk-taker.

4. Step 4 - Philosophy of Karma
"Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshou kada chana,
Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani."

Just focus on what you have to do and don’t bother about the consequences. Right or wrong, no matter. Just trust your instincts and go ahead.

5. Step 5 - Subtle communicator
Beginning from his childhood days, Krishna was a great communicator; we all have heard tales of his mischievous yet smart doings. He knew what it takes to convince people and sell your ideas. This is precisely what every entrepreneur should master as well.

6. Step 6 - Leadership
He is considered to be one of the biggest leaders of all times. He was a good orator, communicator and had a great knack of dealing with people. For Leadership , Communication is best Key.

7. Step 7 - Don't Manage People , Manage Situation
As a CEO , you have to manage situation between Management, Employees and Directors. If you try to manage people , you will get messed but if you try to manage situation, that's impact can change easily.

8. Step 8 - Cool Attitude
Even though Krishna had a huge task at his hand, that of making the Pandavas win against the Kauravas, never once did he lose his cool or act irresponsibly. And that is exactly how a CEO should be maintaining his calm under pressure.

9. Step 9 - Flexible
Lord Krishna lent a ear to anyone who wanted to talk to him --- whether it was Arjun who did not want a war or even the Kauravas -- who just wanted victory --- however, in the end he did what he felt was right --- you too should be like this at the workplace. Follow your instinct.

10. Step 10 - Don't Be Available for Everyone , Be Accessible
A good CEO must be accessible to all and employees should not be sceptical in talking to him. Similarly, Krishna too was open and accessible to anyone and everyone. He did not differentiate between people on the basis of caste and colour. So For Learning you should open but don't be available for everyone everytime ... availability means you are free from work task.

11. Step 11 -Dharma
When Arjuna was in a dilemma about fighting against his own brothers, Krishna reminded him about his Dharma or duty. Similarly, even though there are times when you might not enjoy your work, but you still have to do it.

12. Step 12 - Strategy
For the Mahabharata war, Krishna planned ahead. He knew that the Kauravas would leave no stone un turned to win the war and so he made a point to note all their tactics and moves. In the corporate world too, one should always be prepared. Try to know competitors , rivals , hidden enemies and their next moves.

13. Step 13 - Detachment
In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna tells Arjuna that one should remain detached from Maya, so that one can fight clean in all areas of your life. Similarly, at the workplace too, one should not get emotionally involved with anyone, lest his work suffers. Don't involve in brand or name fame. Attach with your self

14. Step 14 - Support
Krishna was unflinching in his support to the Pandavas --- even though the Kauravas came to him for help, he knew his priorities lied with the Pandavas. At the workplace, if you take a stand for any person, make sure to help him all throughout. Be Supporter...

15. Step 15 - The many Faces
Krishna was polite and gentle and at the same time, he could turn into clever and shrewd, depending on the situation. At the workplace too, one should display their characteristics, depending on the situation.Don't allow anybody to judge you or know you. Its harmful when opposite person analyzed you or studied you. Keep multiple faces

16. Step 16 - Inner Voice
In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna says that one should always listen to their inner voice, which is that of a soul. No matter where you go in life or what you do, always listen to your instincts.

17. Step 17 - Perseverance
Krishna never wallows in self-pity. If something goes wrong, he makes sure to fix it before it gets too late. At the workplace too, one should avoid brooding over their mistakes. One should look at correcting them as soon as possible. "SUCCESS CAN NOT BE GIFTED , ITS SHOULD EARN"

18. Step 18 - Long-Term Goals
Personally, Krishna had nothing to gain from the Mahabharata war, no matter who won. However, he knew that for the benefit of the society, it would be better if the Pandavas won. At the workplace, one should always look at long-term goals and not short-term victories.

19. Step 19 - Passive Leader- Leading from back
A leader does not always have to bag the limelight and no one can prove this better than Krishna. He quietly did his work and made the Pandavas win, without once picking up a weapon. This is the mark of a true, great leader. Be Passive Leader!

20. Step 20 - Surviving through Adversity
Krishna was born in captivity and separated from his parents soon after birth. Yet, he never let his personal struggles come in the way of his dharma. Hence, no matter what you are going through in your personal life, don't bring it to work. Be prepared for worst

21. Step 21 - Committment
Krishna always knew that the purpose of his life on earth was to kill his uncle, the evil Kansa. He did so while he was still a child. So, if you are committed to a cause, don't delay in executing that. Do not let anything come in between you and your cause.

22. Step 22 - Share your Learning
Everyone knows that Bhagavad Gita is simply a conversation between Arjuna and Krishna. Krishna passed on all his learning to Arjuna which motivated him to fight for justice. Similarly, a good leader never keeps his knowledge to himself. He passes it on.

23. Step 23 - Management
Krishna could have made the Mahabharata war finish in a couple of hours due to his powers, yet he made the Pandavas win the war based on hard-work and sacrifice. And this is what any good CEO will do -- make you toil so that you can succeed eventually.

24. Step 24 - Unbiased
Kansa was Krishna's maternal uncle, yet Krishna did not think twice before killing him since he was evil. Similarly, even at the workplace, you cannot let your friendship or relationship with someone affect your work.

25. Step 25 - Communicator
It is said that when Krishna talked, everyone would listen to him in rapt attention --- and a goo CEO should be just like that. He should have his way with words, so that people should both listen to him and take his advice.

If you feel to uplift your business then start accepting rather than expecting...
